Do you have a favorite recipe you would like to share? Send your recipes to be included in a new cookbook. Your name will be printed with your recipe in the cookbook. You can even send a short story about your recipe if you have special memories of cooking and sharing a meal with your family or friends. We can add the story to the cookbook. I hope we get many special recipes and stories from the Deaf Community to share with others.
A Deaf woman from Florida is sending recipes she cooks with her family. They are Greek. I am excited to learn how to cook Greek meals from a Deaf family!
This is a fun way to share your favorite recipes with other Deaf and to help Hearing learn more about Deaf Culture. Funds from the cookbook will be used to support the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in our communities.

Send recipes to
Lhessee@aoinc.org

We are once again collecting pop cans and tabs for a local family who has to take their son to Children’s Hospital in Columbia for testing and treatment on a monthly basis. These tabs will be used to help pay for rooms at the Ronald McDonald house or if no rooms are available they will cash them in to help pay for a hotel room and gas. Give tabs to any DAG Officer and bring them to any DAG event.
Thank you for helping this family.
